Why Choose Us

Local and Practical Service

Based in Swardeston, I provide pressure washing across Norwich and nearby villages. Each enquiry is assessed individually so that access, drainage and the condition of the surface can be considered before work begins.

Cleaning Suited to the Surface

Pressure and technique are adjusted according to the material being cleaned. Some surfaces require a gentler approach, and older or damaged areas may not be suitable for intensive pressure washing.

Surfaces I Can Clean

Subject to their condition and suitability, pressure washing can be provided for:

  • Patios and paving
  • Block-paved, concrete and tarmac driveways
  • Garden paths and steps
  • Outdoor walls and other hard surfaces
  • Timber and composite decking
  • Suitable garden furniture

Where black spot, algae or stubborn organic staining is present, an appropriate cleaning product may be recommended before pressure washing and included within the quote.

Careful Preparation

I inspect the surface and surrounding area before starting, taking account of drainage, loose pointing, damaged paving, nearby plants and other practical risks. Pressure washing can greatly improve an outdoor surface, although the final result will depend on its age, material, condition and previous staining.

I assess the area from photographs or a site visit, check the surface and access, and provide a fixed quote based on the work required.

Step 2: Preparation and Cleaning

The area is prepared and cleaned methodically using pressure and accessories suited to the surface. A suitable pre-treatment may be used where stubborn staining or black spot requires it.

Step 3: Rinsing and Tidying

Once cleaning is complete, surrounding areas are rinsed where necessary and displaced dirt and debris are cleared. Any relevant limitations or aftercare points will be explained.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions about domestic pressure washing.

Q: How much does pressure washing cost?
Jobs are normally quoted at a fixed price based on the area being cleaned, the surface, access and the level of staining or build-up. A minimum job price of £50 applies.
Could pressure washing damage the surface?
Inappropriate pressure can damage some materials, particularly weakened pointing, older paving, timber and already-deteriorated surfaces. I inspect the area first and adjust the approach where appropriate. Any significant concerns will be discussed before work begins.
Can you remove black spot, moss and algae?
Pressure washing can considerably reduce this type of build-up. Where suitable, a specialist cleaning product may be recommended before washing. Complete removal cannot be guaranteed because results depend on the material, age and depth of the staining.
How long will the surface take to dry?
Drying time depends on the surface, drainage, shade and weather conditions. Some areas may remain damp considerably longer than others.
