Why Choose Us

Reliable and Local

We’re based in Swardeston and have been helping local homeowners and tenants across Norwich, Mulbarton, Cringleford, and nearby areas for years. Our friendly, reliable service makes lawn care easy.

One-Off or Regular

Grass cutting can be arranged as a one-off visit or as part of regular garden maintenance. Weekly or fortnightly cutting generally works best during periods of strong growth, with visits adjusted as growth slows later in the year.

More Than Just Mowing

Lawn maintenance can include:

  • Regular or one-off grass cutting
  • Edging around beds, paths and other boundaries
  • Scarifying to remove accumulated moss and thatch
  • Aerating compacted ground
  • Seasonal lawn feeding
  • Overseeding thin or bare areas

These services can be discussed separately or included within a wider lawn-improvement visit. Results depend on the condition of the lawn, weather, soil and aftercare.

Clippings? No Problem

We’ll leave clippings in your brown bin or on your compost heap if you have one. If the bin fills up, I can leave a bulk bag by your bin for you to empty over the next fortnight’s collection. There’s a £5 refundable deposit for the bag, returned once it’s emptied and handed back. This keeps things tidy without the high cost of van removal for small jobs.

Grass Cutting Process

Step 1: Lawn Review

I check the lawn’s condition, grass growth, access and any practical issues before agreeing the most suitable approach.

Step 2: Professional Mowing

The lawn is cut at an appropriate height for its condition and the time of year, taking care to avoid scalping or placing unnecessary stress on the grass.

Step 3: Finishing Touches

Edges are tidied where required, and loose clippings are cleared from paths and surrounding areas. Waste arrangements are agreed before work begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about lawn care? Here are the most common ones we get from Norwich homeowners.

Do I need to be home when you cut the grass?
Not at all — many of our customers give us access and come home to a freshly mown lawn. Just let us know your preferred access method (gate code, key safe, unlocked gate, etc.).
How often should I get my lawn mowed?
During periods of strong growth, many lawns benefit from weekly or fortnightly cutting. Less frequent visits may be suitable as growth slows. I can suggest a practical schedule after seeing the lawn, but this will also depend on current availability.
Can you help with thin, compacted or tired lawns?
Yes. Depending on the lawn’s condition, I can provide scarifying, aerating, feeding and overseeding. These may require a separate visit and are normally best undertaken at suitable times of year.
