Leaf Clearance in Norwich | Autumn Leaf Collection & Removal
Fallen leaves can build up quickly on lawns, beds, paths, patios and other garden surfaces. Steve’s Garden Services provides seasonal leaf clearance across Norwich, Swardeston and nearby villages, helping customers manage the autumn workload and keep important areas accessible and tidy.
With experience dating back to 2009 and full public liability insurance, I clear leaves from agreed areas such as lawns, paths, patios and flowerbeds and ground-floor gutters. The service is charged from £25 per hour with a minimum two-hour booking. Larger clearances may be quoted as a complete job after the site and waste arrangements have been assessed.

Practical Leaf Clearance for Your Garden
Protect Your Lawn and Plants
A heavy layer of wet leaves can reduce light and airflow to the grass beneath it. Removing excessive cover can help limit prolonged smothering and makes the lawn easier to inspect and maintain.
Keep Paths and Drainage Areas Clearer
Wet leaves can make paths, steps and patios slippery and may accumulate around surface drains. Clearance reduces the build-up, although surfaces may remain wet, stained or slippery depending on their condition and the weather.
Improve the Garden’s Appearance
Clearing excessive leaves can make lawns, beds and hard surfaces look tidier and easier to use. Some leaves can still be retained or composted in suitable areas where they are not causing a practical problem.
Flexible Waste Options
Where suitable, leaves can be composted on site, placed in your brown bin or collected in reusable bulk bags. Separately priced removal can also be agreed where required. Steve’s Garden Services is registered as a waste carrier.
Reusable bulk bags are available with a £5 refundable deposit per bag.
How the Leaf Clearance Service Works

Step 1: On-Site Assessment
At the start of the booking, I confirm the priority areas, the amount and condition of the leaf cover, access and the agreed waste arrangement. Priority areas may include lawns, beds, paths, patios and steps and gutters.

Step 2: Leaf Collection
I use suitable combinations of blowers, rakes and collection equipment to gather leaves from the agreed areas. The method is adjusted around delicate planting, loose surfaces, wet ground and features requiring additional care.

Step 3: Agreed Waste Arrangement
Collected leaves are handled using the arrangement agreed at the start of the job. They may be composted on site, placed in the customer’s brown bin, collected in reusable bulk bags or removed for a separate charge.
